By air....

Whilst Pai has an airstrip, scheduled flights are not guaranteed. Previously the 20 minute flight from Chiang Mai was available with Nok Air mini and recently with Kan Air.

Make your own way by car....

Pai is situated on the 1095 between Mae Teng (Chiang Mai) and Mae Hong Son.
From Chiang Mai city, take the 108 north for approx. 40kms, then take the left turn on the 1095 to Mae Hong Son. The road takes you over the mountains and down into the Pai valley.

By bus....

Buses leave from the Chiang Mai Bus Station at about 2 hour intervals throughout the day and take approximately 4 hours, making one stop for a 15 minute break.
